Dear InkaNatura:

I just had to write and comment on my experience into Manu National Park. It was the wildlife trip of a lifetime. Our group saw everything we set out to see and so much more--jaguars, tapirs, caiman, monkeys/tamarinds, giant river otters, capybaras, peccaries, snakes, frogs, tarantulas, over 150 birds.

Our guide, Marlene, was so amazingly knowledgeable, personable, witty, funny, but most of all enthusiastic. It was so apparent that her job is a labor of love. Couldn't have asked for anyone better suited to our needs. The local indigenous staff was also great. Our boat drive, Dionicio, with his "eagle" eyes, made it possible for us to see not one, but two jaguars in one day. Give that man a raise.

I was the only one in our group to request a vegetarian meal and was delightfully accommodated. The food was abundant and wonderful. It was such a wonderful trip. I would recommend, without reservation, Marlene and InkaNatura to anyone looking for a true jungle experience. My only disappointment with the whole trip was the airplane not working due to weather and/or politics. Because Manu Wildlife Center is so wonderful and such a great place to finish up the tour it is a shame to only have
one night there. We were fortunate enough to be able to hook up with another guide and spend an extra day there for extra money. I would have liked to have know via an email before I arrived in Peru that there was a chance the itinerary was going to change.

We wolud specifically like to mention the guides, who were first class. Namely, Daniel and Maribel in Lima, Omar en Cusco and Eduardo for Lake Titicaca. Their depth of knowledge, their very professional and considerate attitude towards their environment and the people they came into contact with (us included)  all served to enhance and enrich our experience of your country.

We were very pleased with all the accomodation and the arrangements (including the flights) worked perfectly. Dear Carolina and Carmen,

I had to send you a huge "Thank You!" for the extraordinary trip you arranged for 17 friends from Texas and Kentucky! No one could have prepared us for such excitement, great food, wonderful guides and private tours that InkaNatrua planned and carried out with care. We all, everyone of us, experienced the trip of our lives to Peru. The Inka Trail Discovery with Eddie, Olger and Roberto was not only exciting but it was great, great fun! I think the mountains shook with our laughter! Those three gentlemen were terrific guides and cheerleaders and decision makers. The food was delicious, the porters were friendly, hard woking and very contientious of our every need. We had the marvelous fortune of getting to know Juan Carlos who dances in Pautarcambo as a Pablito. That was a big thrill for us to sit and listen to his stories about the dances he performs and the traditions he carries on. He is practicing to become a guide and I'll bet that he will make a very good one with his personality.

And!! The tents did not leak!

Eddie, Olger and Roberto taught us so much about the great cultures and architecture of Cusco, the Sacred Valley and Machu and Huayna. We had a ball! Really, they are an asset to your company. The teenagers on our trip looked up to them and listened to every word Eddie said.

Our contact in Cusco, Maria, has to be your most valuable agent. Maria not only saw that everything for our trip was planned and executed with care, but she helped us whenever we had a need. We felt completely cared for and we felt secure when we found ourselves in the middle of many national strikes. We saw how difficult things were for other travelers. But, not once did we feel the need to worry on this trip.

We enjoyed every moment and sincerely appreciate all of the work you did to make it play out smoothly.

I will most definitely continue to recommend InkaNatura and the two of you. I will never forget your detailed care for my friends and for me regarding the coordination of our big trip to Peru.
