THE ROUTE FROM OLLANTA TO PISCAYCUCHO

As the train service to Aguas Calientes is close to reinitiate, InkaNatura Travel has inspected the route from Ollantaytambo to Piscaycucho and we would like to share the following comments:

• The route takes about 1 hour from Ollanta to Piscaycucho.
• The 90% of the route is unsurfaced but safe.
• It runs along the river.
• The car or bus will pass through small towns.
• We are checking with Peru Rail different points like bathrooms, etc.
• The route is an emergency solution for the following weeks. Your passengers will see some people working on the way.
• Soon the route from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes will be in operation.
