Mi name is Micaela and I am 29 years old, and I declare myself as a passionate peruvian. Traveling around the world just made me remember that here in my land is where I find all the answers. In my people, their culture, their flavor. Nothing can be compared to what we have. There’s a reason why we’ve been declared as one of the most important gastronomic destinations of the world - one more reason to discover the best Peru tours and combine it with Machu Pichu Hike or Amazon Jungle tours.

I do not want to forget to mention the incredible and diverse cultures that developed way before the Inca Empire was born. They didn’t do anything other tan enrich us with wisdom, a rich history and much positive influence that lasts until today. You can learn about them taking part of any of the various adventure travel tours InkaNatura Travel offers.

Thanks to all of these cultures we are who we are now. We have several very important archeological ruins all around the country. We also have many museums located in our capital; a must - go place. Among them we have the Museum of Anthropology, Archaeology and History of Perú in Pueblo Libre, where we can find a collection of more than 300 thousand pieces between ceramics, textiles, metals, organic material, pieces and tools made from stone, human conserved remains and objects with a history-artistic value. All of these pieces portray Perú. The Museum of the Nation, The MALI Art Museum located in the Centre of Lima, the magnificent cementery made museum “Presbítero Maestro”, built more than 200 years ago, where we can appreciate various sculptures from the Spanish period. The Modern Art Museum and the Osma Museum in Barranco, The by hand Museum, The Gold Museum, The Larco Herrera Museum, where we find all the collection of “huacos” from the Moche culture, The Electricity Museum and last but not least our town’s historic quarter; The Historic Centre of Lima, an ancient and picturesque place that no tourist should skip and can be included in any of the Peru holiday packages InkaNatura Travel offers.

So, coming to Lima and not visiting these places full of tradition is almost a crime. I love my country, describes us so much. I feel proud to belong to this place so magical and diverse. Lima is definitely culture and flavor.

Visit Peru and do not forget to have some days to explore Lima Museum and historical places.
