Machu Picchu a Family Adventure in Peru

Posted by Carmen Maria Guevara Protzel on May 31, 2017 2:30:00 PM

All over the world the top adventure travel outfitters are busy unveiling more new trips than you can shake a hiking pole at.

In case  you dont know where to go taking into consideration your particular brand of adventure you prefer : walking, biking, kayaking, rafting, sailing, or just kicking back and discovering an emerging destination, #Peru offers a variety of experiences that will make you feel like a real explorer.

When Hiram Bingham III discovered the Lost City of the Incas a century ago, he could never have imagined that #MachuPicchu would someday become the world's most popular adventure destination. He might have had an even harder time imagining it as a family vacation spot.

The #IncaTrail was the way the Inca communicated along the Inca Empire and is a trend of roads connecting each place from North to South, East to West.

The #IncaTrail to #MachuPicchu was the main avenue of all the roads as it connected #Cusco with the awesome #MachuPicchu archaeological site.

For those that could not get spots for this year season for the 4 or 5 days trek you still can take the 2 days trek that will allow you to walk the last part of the trek or you can go the #Quarry where its been said the incas took the stones to built #MachuPicchu  or immerse in the route  of Lares and Patacancha where the #Weavers lived.

It´s been said that "All roads take you to Rome".... I can say "Many roads take you to #MachuPicchu
