It’s not hard if you have visited Peru to understand how inspiration swells from the country like steam from a boiling kettle. Take time to explore the mountain paths and cities of Machu Picchu and Choquequirau, the ruins of such great civilizations can hardly avoid touching your imagination. The bright colors and crafts of today’s inhabitants of Peru serve as reminders of what once must have filled the ancient cities.
Peru’s gold mines have been serviced for thousands of years and it is said that the Inca cities were draped in it. Imagine yourself a Spanish conquistador eyes alight as you burst upon towns with gold eking from every surface. These treasures have survived though not in their original form as the Spanish took them to melt into crucifixes and other symbols of Christianity. Still the feeling remains in Peru, the memory of great and noble people who lived in a country of beauty and bounty.

Not surprisingly this unique country has inspired many artists. Using any medium you prefer, Peru’s treasures could be captured and displayed, inspiring people further to visit this country. Artist’s tours and cruises are a popular way to explore countries and a perfect inspiration to their participants.
